Southern Yacht Club were crowned the 2021 ROLEX New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup Champions.
The Bermuda boat skippered by James Macdonald, along with his crew Jon Corless, Tom Miller, Lexa Macdonald, Jeff Roach, Walter Smith, Paul Watson, and Alison Hill, finished in last place in the 19 boat fleet.
The Southern Yacht Club team has become the second team to ever win sailing's premier Corinthian big-boat championship.
Macdonald and his crew finished the first race of the final day of racing in 14th place, they would then finish in 18th in the second race and final race of the day.
They finished the regatta with 209 points, while the Southern Yacht Club finished with 48 points.
