IOD World Championship 2021 Day Two

The International One Design Class 85th Anniversary & World Championship 2021 continued on the Great Sound, with 11 boats taking to the Start Line for race day two.

Two more races were sailed in light winds, current World Champions John Burnham and Peter Rugg remain the leaders after the second day of racing having finished first in the first race of the day and the third of the series, and then crossed the line 4th in the second race, and they have 8 points

Bermuda’s Patrick Cooper who started the day in second overall, came off the water in 6th, this after finishes of 6th and 9th.

Tom Freemont-Smith moved up from 7th to 2nd after finishing 2nd twice on the day and he now has 16 points, and Nick Schoeder remains in third place with 19 points, both Urban Ristorp and Phil Kennedy also have 19 points.
