Devonshire Cougars 2 Devonshire Colts 1
The battle of Devonshire was won by the Cougars as the 2024 Bermuda Football Association’s Dudley Eve competition got underway at the Devonshire Recreation Club.
The Devonshire Cougars took the lead in the 34th minute with Elisha Darrell finding the back of the net, one minute later it was 2 – 0 when Darrell scored his second of the match, the Devonshire Cougars would take that lead to the break.
One minute into the second half, the Devonshire Colts pulled a goal back through Chemarl Henry, but they could not find an equalizer.
Group B
North Village Rams 1 Paget Lions 1
The Group B match between the North Village rams, and the Paget Lions ended in a 1 – 1 draw.
After a scoreless first half, the North Village Rams took the lead when Amir Dill scored in the 49th minute, but in the 88th minute the Paget Lions drew level with a goal from Julian Carpenter.
