The goalkeeper kept his second clean sheet in the Superliga as Vejle beat Lyngby 1-0 thanks to top scorer German Onugkha’s strike at Vejle Stadium.
Trott himself made a superb double save with 17 minutes remaining to secure an important win, clearing a cross, before responding well to flick the rebound over the crossbar.
Vejle remain eleventh in the Superliga table, with 12 points from their first 15 games. However, after losing their opening six matches after winning promotion last season, the Jutland-based team has staged a recovery to take 12 points from the last nine matches to climb off the bottom.
