The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) announced the final Women’s team selected to represent Bermuda at the 2023 NatWest International Island Games XIX.
When asked how she feels about her team and their chances in the 2023 NatWest International Island Games XIX, Head Coach Naquita Robinson said, "We have been working hard in preparation for the NatWest Island Games. I am excited about returning to the Games, as we have yet to compete since winning on home soil in 2013.
The 2023 Island Games is a different test for us as the teams we face are relatively unknown. We have selected a strong squad with most of our players available for the tournament.
We are up for the challenge and will be there during the medal matches. Island Games 2023 is the beginning of a very active calendar year for the Senior Women's National Team and will be excellent preparation for the CONCACAF W Gold Cup qualifying later this year.”
BFA President Mark Wade said, “The Bermuda Football Association would like to thank the coaches, players, and staff for their hard work and dedication in preparing for the upcoming tournament. We encourage all of Bermuda to support the team in their campaign.”
