Kole Hall and his Chester Football Club teammates secured an important home win, as well as keeping a clean sheet, against Southport.
A strong start to the second half was capped off by an excellent goal for Hall from a Harry McHugh free kick, while the closest the visitors came to an equalizer was a Charlie Munro header that came off the post.
In the fifty-third minute a spectacular free kick from debutant McHugh picked out Hall, who chested the ball and finished emphatically.

Enrique Russell

The match ended in a 1 – 1 draw and went to the Kick from the penalty Mark and then needed Sudden Death to decide a winner.
