Nahki Wells put Bristol City on the road to victory over Huddersfield Town with his second goal of the season.
And the forward, who headed in Jay Dasilva's pinpoint cross after 35 minutes, was pleased with a third successive 2 - 0 win at Ashton Gate.
"I'm delighted to score an important goal for us, put in a big shift and keep the run continuing," said Wells.
"We are trying to make this our fortress. We know if you are going to be a very good side at this level you have to pick up as many points as you can at home."
Wells talked about Dasilva 'owing him' an assist for a rare headed goal, competition for places and staying positive to take his chance.
