Persistence up top for the hosts kept the pressure on Monterey Bay in their first regular season visit to Sacramento. Continued pressure allowed Republic FC to draw and convert on two penalties – their league-leading fourth and fifth scores from the spot this season.

The Major Arena Soccer League announced due to a series of cancelled flights, including a national Southwest outage, the game today between David Bascome’s Baltimore Blast and the Florida Tropics had to be cancelled and will not be rescheduled. The Blast made every attempt possible to get to Florida in time for the game but were ultimately unsuccessful. The cancellation of this game will have no impact on playoff seeding’s for any MASL team.
