Dale Eve and his Spennymoor Town teammates hosted Darlington FC as both teams finished with ten-men and shared the spoils in a fierce Boxing Day clash.
The visitors took the lead in a cagey beginning to the game as Luke Charman headed home an in-swinging Danny Rose corner after 13 minutes. Spennymoor had Glen Taylor convert a spot-kick on the stroke of half-time to level the match.
Spennymoor were then reduced to 10-men early in the second half when Stephen Thompson was sent off for sliding in for a 50/50 challenge with the referee adjourning the challenge as a red card.
Darlington were also reduced to 10-men with five minutes left after there was an altercation between Charman and James Curtis with the former shown red after the clash.
