Nahki Wells and his Bristol City teammates hosted Reading under the BS3 lights in the Sky Bet Championship, but they would fall 2 – 0.
Reading took the lead in the 42nd minute when Lucas Joao scored, and then three minutes later Michael Morrison doubled the lead to earn the visitors the win.
Following the match, Dean Holden was relieved of his Manager duties with immediate effect.
Following a sixth successive defeat, the Bristol City Board decided that a change of Head Coach is necessary.
Assistant Head Coaches Paul Simpson and Keith Downing will take charge of training until further notice.

KANE CRICHLOW
Kane Crichlow was not part of the Watford squad that traveled to Preston and came away with a 1 – 0 win.
After a scoreless first half, Joao Pedro converted from the penalty spot in the 51st minute to earn Watford the win.
JUSTIN DONAWA
Justin Donawa was an unused substitute as his Solihull Moors teammates defeated Aldershot Town 3 – 1 on the road.
Solihull took the lead in the 17th minute when Jamie Ward scored, Alex Gudger doubled the lead when he scored in the first minute of stoppage time in the first half.
It would be 3 – 0 in the 62nd minute when Adam Rooney found the back of the net, Aldershot Town would get on the board when Josh Rees scored in the 87th minute.
JONTE SMITH
Jonte Smith came off the bench in the 68th minute, but he could not prevent Woking from going down 2 – 0 on the road against Wrexham.
Wrexham took the lead on the stroke of half time when Dior Angus scored, Luke Young would double the Wrexham lead when he converted a 65th-minute penalty kick.
