Bermuda's English Footballers Round-Up

Bermuda Players
IslandStats.com
Six Bermuda footballers’ English teams were in action today, with www.islandstats.com, as usual, covering each and every one of them.

We continue to bring you the reports of ALL our footballers, and today is no different.

KANE CRICHLOW

Kane Crichlow started on the bench for Watford as they took on Huddersfield in their Championship match.

Crichlow would remain on the bench as Watford fell 2 – 0, Fraizer Campbell scored in the 9th minute for Huddersfield and an own goal in the 32nd minute accounted for all the scoring in this match.

AJANI BURCHALL

Ajani Burchall was back on the bench for Bournemouth in their match against Luton Town.

Burchall would remain on the bench in their Championship match as the two teams played a scoreless draw.

JUSTIN DONAWA

Justin Donawa started the Solihull Moors match against Farsley Celtic in the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Donawa would make his way onto the field to help Solihull advance with a 4 – 0 win. Solihull would get goals from Kyle Hudlin, Krystian Pearce, Cameron Archer, and Mitch Hancox.

DALE EVE

Dale Eve and his Spennymoor teammates took on Southport in their Buildbase FA Trophy Third Round match, and they would be gutted after an incredibly dominant second half, they let Southport grab an equalizer and lost the resulting sudden death shootout.

Southport was playing in their changed sky blue today, not traditional yellow. Presumably to avoid a clash with Spennymoors 'keeper Eve's bright kit.

In the 6th minute, Southport came close to taking the lead, Archer flicked on from a goal kick and plays Watson through one-on-one, but Eve was on hand with a big stop to keep it level.

Spennymoor took the lead in the 9th minute with their first chance Glen Taylor’s free-kick, went in under the wall. In the 14th minute, the score was level when Mo Ali scored from close range.

Mark Anderson put Spennymoor back in front in the 48th minute, but in the 80th minute Eve came for a cross and, after coming through a crowd, he dropped it in the six-yard box and George Newell was on hand for the tap in and the equalizer.

J’NAI BUTTERFIELD-STEEDE

J'nai Butterfield-Steede and his Kendal Town Football took on Marine AFC in their Northern Premier League battle.

After a scoreless first half, Butterfield-Steede and his teammates would fall 4 – 0.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD

Milan Burtterfield took to the field for Guiseley in their Buildbase FA Trophy Third Round tie against Stockport County.

Butterfield and his teammates were reduced to ten men in the 54th minute while leading 1 – 0 bowed out falling 3 – 1.

Guiseley had taken a first half lead when Jonathan Wafula scored, but in the 54th minute, the Guiseley captain Hamza Bencherif brought down a Stockport striker giving up a penalty and was sent off.

The penalty was missed, but Alex Reid would score twice and John Rooney completed the comeback and advance.

REGGIE LAMBE

Reggie Lambe and his Stowmarket Town teammates hosted Norwich CBS in their Buildbase FA Vase Third Round match and advanced with a 2 – 0 win.

Lambe would give Stowmarket Town the lead in the 9th minute when his left-footed shot left the Norwich CBS goalkeeper stranded.

The lead was doubled and the win was sealed in the 86th minute when Josh Mayhew’s header from a cross went in off the crossbar.
