Nahki Wells and his Bristol City teammates suffered a second consecutive defeat in the Sky Bet Championship, as Millwall ended their winless run with a 2-0 victory at Ashton Gate.

Tom Bradshaw would know little about the opener as it flicked off his boot at pace, while Millwall capitalized on the break with Mason Bennett doubling their advantage in the second half.

City looked off the pace but came closest when Wells’ free-kick was turned on to the post.

AJANI BURCHALL

Ajani Burchall did not retain his spot on the bench for Bournemouth as his teammate Junior Stanislas' second-half goal saw AFC Bournemouth past Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 on a night.

DALE EVE

Dale Eve and his Spennymoor Town teammates began their FA Trophy campaign at The Brewery Field picking up a 6 – 2 win over Marske United.

Spennymoor got single strikes from Tyler Hornby-Forbes, Mark Anderson, Joe Tait, Glen Taylor, Steve Thompson, and Nathan Buddle, while Adam Boyes and Matty Tymon scored a goal each for Marske United.

JUSTIN DONAWA

Justin Donawa was not in the Solihull Moors that defeated FC Halifax Town 2 – 1 in Conference Premier League action at home.

Martin Woods gave Halifax Town the lead in the 21st minute, but three minutes later it was 1 – 1 when James Ball scored for Solihull, the winner came in the 56th minute for Solihull when Kyle Hudlin found the back of the net.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD

Milan Burtterfield took to the field for the second time for Guiseley, as they took on Chorley in the FA Trophy.

Butterfield and his teammates came away with a 2 – 0 win, Kaine Felix gave them the lead in the 29th minute, the lead was doubled in injury time when Adam Haw scored.

KEZAIH MARTIN

Keziah Martin and his Kidderminster teammates visited Stamford for their Buildbase FA Trophy Second Round clash.

Martin was an unused substitute as his teammates went down to Stamford 1 – 0, the lone goal of the game came in the 19th minute with Rob Morgan scoring.
