D'Andre Wainwright and his Durham City teammates comeback fell short as they went down 3 – 2 to Easington in their Northern League Division Two match.
Liam Adamson gave Easington the lead in the 3rd minute, the lead was doubled in the 9th minute when Kyle Middleton scored.
Easington would take that 2 – 0 lead to the break.
Durham City would pull a goal back in the 51st minute when Jason Persee found the back of the net, ten minutes later it was 2 – 2 when Wainwright scored, but three minutes later Easington would go back in front when Middleton scored his second goal of the game.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net for the remainder of the match as Easington picked up the win.
