Dill Comes Off the Bench and Shines in Norwich Win

Keunna Dill and her Norwich City Women teammates game was on it was a short trip to The Nest in the north of the city to play their Norfolk Women’s County Cup Semi-Final clash against Wroxham Women.

With Norwich City leading 4 – 1 in the second half, they made their first change of the match with Dill coming on.

Dill was instantly in action as a diagonal ball put her free in acres of space on the left, Dill took the ball into the box firing a low strike that Wroxham goalkeeper Amy Bell saved fantastically with her legs and the ball deflected behind for a corner on the left.

Minutes after taking a 5 – 1, Norwich inflected yet another blow to Wroxham. Wroxham had possession lost in the middle of the field, with the ball finding Dill who took the ball to the byline whipping in a pacey cross into the six yard box Norwich players racing in Natasha Snelling was there to turn the ball in from close range 6-1.

Now 7 – 1, Wroxham were blown away at the end of the match as Norwich go on to score an 8th goal. Dill a constant threat on the left since being introduced to the game was put clear into space, Dill would release a shot from the edge of the box looping over Bell, but the shot cannoned back off the crossbar, Bell was off balance trying to gather the ball, but Snelling running in again ran the ball into the empty net to make the final score 8 – 1.
