The Southampton Rangers President Jason Wade is hoping to have the clubs issue addressed with the Department of Youth and Sport and Recreation’s Alternate Dispute Resolution Arbitration Panel.
As www.islandstats.com broke the story yesterday, it all stems from an email on Friday informing the Southampton Rangers that they have been kicked out of the FA Challenge Cup.
Wade informed of a timeline of the scenario’s surrounding the issue that saw them ask to be on a payment plan for the 2019/20 season.
Wade said, ‘I would have paid the outstanding amount, but we had a letter drafted by the Bermuda Football Association stating that we can pay in installments.”
“We were later informed that the letter was unconstitutional and thus deemed void, but we were told later and we believed to be following the agreement put in place,” continued Wade.
“I have been to the Department of Youth and Sport and hopefully we can get a halt to the draw which is scheduled for Tuesday January 14th at the Clyde Best Center of Excellence,” concluded Wade.
