www.islandstats.com can confirm that Bermuda’s FIFA Assistant Referee Tashun Simons has been confirmed on the Assistant Referee list for 2020.
Chairman of Bermuda Football Association Crenstant Williams said, “Needless to say as the Head of Refereeing for the Bermuda Football Association I am exceptionally proud.”
Williams continued, “This has been a challenging year with many obstacles but the one thing that we didn’t do was quit.”
Williams went on to say, “Special thanks to the Executive of the Bermuda Football Association for the unwavering support, local instructors Lyndon Raynor, Anthony Francis, Martin Wyer and Garic Swainson.”
“A Big shout out also goes out to Thobourne Rohan, Victor Stewart, Dave Meikle and Mark Wade for always encouraging Tashun and myself,” continued Williams.
Williams concluded, “Thanks to Brian Hall for your continued support and advice. The bar has been set and hopefully a few more will follow his lead. Days like this make all the hard work worthwhile.”
