Wilkinson is Looking to Be Re-Instated & Shield Preliminary

Southampton Rangers player Travis Wilkinson is today hoping to meet with Bermuda Football Association Officials in a bid to be reinstated and allowed to play.
Wilkinson explained to www.islandstats.com that he was in a legal matter that was eventually thrown out by the courts, but the Association under their current format still was not letting Wilkinson return to action.
Wilkinson is hopeful a meeting can be held this before this weekend as host the Southampton Rangers are to face X-Road’s in the Friendship Quarter-Finals.

This Shield Preliminary match was abruptly halted in the 37th minute when a heavy rain shower with lightening made the referee Antione Augustus ordering the players and officials off the field.
After a delay of some 23 minutes the match resumed and was scoreless at the break.
Devonshire Colts got three second half goals that ensured them of advancing to the next round where they will battle the St. George’s Colts.
Getting on the scoresheet for the Devonshire Colts was Jibri Salaam, Chermal Henry and Senoj Mitchell.
