Sussex allrounder Delray Rawlins captained his Bermuda National side to victory in their ICC T20 America Sub-Regional Final in Argentina.
Victory in the Sub-Regional Final means Bermuda has now progressed to the Americas Regional Final, which will be played in Bermuda between September 28th and October 8th, 2023.
By reaching the next stage of qualification, it means Rawlins and his teammates are now one step closers to qualifying for next year’s ICC T20 World Cup which is being hosted in the West Indies and the USA.
Bermuda won all four of their qualifiers with Rawlins picking up 8 wickets, his best figures of the qualifiers came against Argentina when he took 4-11.
Rawlins was also undefeated in all three of his batting innings, making two half-centuries against the Cayman Islands (59) and Argentina (67).
Rawlins said: "I really enjoyed leading the boys, going 4-0 was a very good achievement. We're now just looking forward to the next phase and hopefully qualifying for the World Cup."
