Kamau Leverock

Kamau Leverock and his Rode Park & Lawton Cricket Club teammates went down by 5 wickets against Longton Cricket Club.

Rode Park batted first and would score 157/9 in their allotted 40 overs, James MacGillivray was the top scorer with 34, Leverock opened the inning scoring 14, Jacob Garlick, and Tom Saji both took 3 wickets for 35 runs for Longton.

In reply Longton scored 159/5, David Wheeldon was the top scorer with 47, while Andrew Marshall was the pick of the Rode park bowlers with figures of 8-1-42-3, Leverock bowled 8-2-29-0, but he did hold onto a catch.

Janhoi Bean-Wilson

Janhoi Bean-Wilson and his Golcar Cricket Club teammates went down by 23 runs to Hoylandswaine Cricket Club.

Hoylandswaine batted first and were bowled out for 175, A Lqbal was the top scorer with 87, S Whitwam was the pick of the Golcar bowlers with figures of 13-4-54-5, Bean-Wilson held onto a catch.

In reply, Golcar were bowled out for 152, M Ali was the top scorer with 38, Bean- Wilson scored 4.
