Playing in a reduced 32 overs Women's Friendly/Warm-up match Loughborough won the toss and sent Lightning to bat on a damp wicket in overcast conditions.
Lightning scored 160/8 in their 32 overs, opener EM Porter was their top scorer with 59 off 93 balls, she hit 5 fours, HDJ Siegers was the pick of the Loughborough bowlers returning figures of 6.1-1-15-3, while Ray bowled 5-0-31-2.
In reply Loughborough was bowled out for 119, Siegers was the top scorer with 45 off 44 balls hitting 3 fours, Ray added 11 in a third-wicket partnership of 20, Ray faced 14 balls hitting 1 four. BS Solomon was the pick of the Lightning bowlers with figures of 3-0-6-3.
