Delray Rawlins

Delray Rawlins has been pulled from the Sussex 2nds and has been named in the Sussex team against Worcestershire in their third game in the LV= Insurance County Championship.

After last week’s heroics from captain Tom Haines and debutant Cheteshwar Pujara, Head Coach Ian Salisbury is hopeful that his side can build some momentum.

Haines and Pujara put on a phenomenal third-wicket stand of 351 in 119 overs to ensure Sussex claimed a draw and left Derbyshire with 8 points in the bag.

Head Coach Ian Salisbury said, “First of all, it is great to have Delray back in the side, we were delighted with his two performances for the second XI, not only with his fifer’s but also his attitude and application. Del comes in for James Coles who has now returned to college to finish his exams.”
