www.islandstats.com can reveal that the 2022 Uganda Cricket World Cup Challenge League B in which Bermuda is involved has been postponed.
The 2022 Uganda Cricket World Cup Challenge League B teams of Bermuda, Hong Kong, Italy, Jersey, Kenya and host Uganda were scheduled to compete in February 2022.
The tournament forms part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup in India.
In October 2019, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that the Uganda Cricket Association would host the tournament, with the series scheduled to take place between August 3rd – 13th.
However, on June 10th, 2020, the ICC confirmed that the tournament had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ICC have confirmed to www.islandstats.com that the tournament has been postponed yet again due to the ongoing Covid-19 issues, the tournament is expected to be rescheduled for later in the year.
