In their Second ICC Twenty20 World Cup Qualifying match in Dubai, Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat against Singapore.
Bermuda found themselves 29/3 as Okera Bascome chipped one straight to the man at mid-off to hand Amjad Mahboob the opening wicket. Then Dion Stovell sets off for a quick run and was left stranded at the non-striker's end when Terryn Fray did not respond and then Delray Rawlins lofted Sidhant Singh straight down the throat of long on.
A 55 run 5th wicket partnership between Janeiro Tucker and Deunte Darrell took Bermuda past the 100 run total, Tucker went on to be Bermuda’s top scorer with 50 not out, Fray added 29, while both Darrell and Kamau Leverock scored 18 each, Leverock’s runs came off 6 deliveries he hit 1 four and 2 sixes, Tucker faced 34 deliveries in his inning hitting 6 fours and 1 six.
In reply Singapore scored 152/5 after 19.3 overs to win by 5 wickets, Navin Param was the top scorer with 72 not out, while five Bermuda bowlers picked up a wicket each, with Tucker the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2-0-16-1.
