Delray Rawlins and his Sussex teammate’s Specsavers County Championship September run-in starts against Gloucestershire on Tuesday (10.30am start).
A 13-man squad has travelled to Bristol for the fixture. Rawlins and Stiaan van Zyl return to the squad while a fit-again George Garton is also included.
Danny Briggs, the now-departed Alex Carey, Tom Clark, Harry Finch and Abi Sakande are the players from the squad announced prior to Sussex’s last Championship outing to miss out
Sussex’s win in that match against Middlesex last month kept alive their hopes of promotion, elevating them to sixth place and putting them 16 points behind Northants in third with three matches left to play.
