With the Bermuda Cricket Board 50 Over League resuming this past weekend, today we take a look at the League Standings in the 50 Overs as well as the top performers both locally and abroad.
The Southampton Rangers are leading the Premier Division 50 Over League with 92 points after winning 7 games and 1 no result, while Bailey’s Bay are in second place with 66 points and St. George’s Cricket Club are in third place with 53 points.
Willow Cuts are the 50 Over First Division League Leaders with 104 points having won 8 games, with 1 defeat and 1 no result, the Somerset Cricket Club are in second with 97 points and Western Stars are in third with 69 points.
Macai Simmons was the top scorer with a knock of 89 for St. David’s Cricket Club in their Eastern County Cup match, while a knock of 69 was the second best score by Delray Rawlins playing for Sussex, 68 was the third top score for the weekend, OJ Pitcher scored his runs but was not out for the St. David’s Cricket Club, while Dean Stephens scored his runs for Cleveland County.
In the Bowling department, figures of 6-0-20-5 saw Khiry Furbert from Western Stars finish at the top of the pack, while Somerset Cricket Club’s Greg Maybury had the second best figures of 10-2-28-5 and figures of 10-1-35-5 saw Regino Smith finished third playing for Flatt’s Victoria.
