Canada and Bermuda are the two teams from the ICC Americas to advance to the next round of the ICC Twenty20 Cricket World Cup which is set for later this year.

United States of America batted first and were restricted to 141/9 in their allotted 20 overs, Hayden Walsh was the top scorer with 26, while Onias Bascome once again leading the bowling attack with figures of 4-0-32-3, Delray Rawlins bowled 4-0-22-2 and Malachi Jones bowled 4-0-26-2.

In reply Bermuda scored the required runs to advance with 7 balls to spare, Okera Bascome was the top scorer with 35 off 16 deliveries, while Man of the Match Deunte Darrell scored 30 not out off 23 deliveries. Karima Gore was the pick of the United States of America bowlers with figures of 4-0-5-3.

Canada Win by 8 Wickets

Canada became the first ICC Americas team to advance to the next round of the ICC Twenty20 Cricket World Cup which is set for later this year after they defeated the Cayman Islands by 8 wickets.

Cayman batted first and scored 91/7 in their 20 overs, Gregory Strydom was the top scorer with 23, Saad Bin Zafar was the pick of the Canada bowlers with figures of 4-0-8-3.

In reply Canada scored 95/2, after losing the openers with no runs on the board, Naveet Dhaliwal and Nitish Kumar shared a 95 run third wicket partnership to seal the victory, Dhaliwal scored 53 not out.
