A total of 810 runs were scored between the team and only 13 wickets fell as Kamau Leverock and his Warwickshire Cricket Club teammates went down by 4 wickets to Worcestershire Cricket Club.
Warwickshire received their first defeat of pre-season as Worcestershire chased 404 to win by four wickets, batting first Warwickshire would score 403/7 and Worcestershire would reply with 407/6.
Matt Lamb led the attack, firing a superb 88 off 43 balls, which included seven fours and six sixes.
Sam Hain scored 70 from 84 balls, while Liam Banks added 67 from 53, Tim Ambrose scored 61 from 55 and Adam Hose who scored 40 off 28 were the early support with Alex Mellor scoring 32 off 12 and George Panayi hit 17 off six adding extra impetus in the final overs.
Leverock did not bat.
Worcestershire responded and hit the 100 mark in just 12.2 overs.
Rikki Wessells, who was eventually bowled for 97 off 51 balls by Leverock, proved the key batter as Warwickshire removed Josh Dell, Tom Fell, George Rhodes and Brett D'Oliveira for less than 35 a piece, leaving Worcestershire on 210 for five after 27 overs.
But it wasn't to be as Warwickshire strived for wickets. Ross Whiteley led the fightback with 68 off 41, before Alex Milton scored 62 off 59 and Ed Barnard added 78 off 31 reached the target with 29 balls in hand.
Leverock finished with figures of 6-0-101-1.
