Top seed Blaise Bicknell and Poland's Kacper Szymkowiak produced commanding straight-sets performances to book their places in the singles final of the ITF M15 Bermuda Open at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
Jamaica's Bicknell underlined his status as tournament favourite with an emphatic semi-final display, requiring little time to brush aside American Nathan Cox 6-1, 6-2.
The 23-year-old took early control from the baseline, breaking Cox at will in the opening set and giving the unseeded American little room to settle into any rhythm. Bicknell maintained that relentless tempo through the second set to seal his place in the title decider with minimal fuss.
He will meet seventh seed Kacper Szymkowiak, who caused an upset in the second semi-final by halting the run of second seed Keshav Chopra.
The Polish player held his nerve during a tight, hard-fought opening set before edging through 7-5. With the momentum firmly in his favour, Szymkowiak dictated play in the second, breaking the American to close out a polished 7-5, 6-3 victory.
