Bermuda international Jamin Hodgkins helped orchestrate a dominant afternoon for the UBCOB Ravens as they powered past the Bayside Sharks 50-17 at Jericho Rugby Park.
The Ravens ran in a commanding bonus-point victory, piling on 50 points to seal a +33 differential and leave the struggling Sharks empty-handed.
The result lifts the Ravens to a 5-1 record near the summit of the table, while Bayside slump to 1-5 following a chastening afternoon in Vancouver.
From the opening exchanges, the hosts dictated both tempo and territory. With Hodgkins pulling the strings in the backline, the Ravens found regular seams through the Sharks' defensive line, turning sustained pressure into a procession of tries.
Bayside managed brief spells of resistance and crossed for 17 points, but they were unable to halt the hosts' relentless attacking phases or secure a four-try bonus point of their own.
The Ravens will look to maintain their momentum next weekend when they return to Jericho Rugby Park to host the UVic Vikes, while the Sharks have a bye week to regroup before their campaign resumes.
