Conor White produced a masterclass in solo riding to claim a dominant victory in the 2026 President's Cup Road Race, while Panzy Olander powered to the women's title.
The racing was lively from the start, with a competitive field that included Alexander Miller, Harrison Jones, Dominique Mayho and Nicholas Pilgrim. White made his decisive move in Crawl, opening a gap before putting in a sustained effort to build his advantage.
White pushed hard for the first 20 minutes of his breakaway before settling into a pace he could maintain. By Trimingham Hill, the chasing riders were out of sight, and a glimpse of the field as he rode out of Dockyard confirmed his substantial lead.
Riding unattached in the Open Men's category, White blew the field apart over the undulating course, crossing the finish line in two hours 15 minutes 15 seconds to take the chequered flag by more than five-and-a-half minutes.
Behind the runaway leader, a tactical battle unfolded for the remaining podium places among the chasing group.
Winners Edge team-mates Alexander Miller and Harrison Jones engaged in a close dash to the line, with Miller edging second place in 2:20:52, narrowly fending off Jones, who took third five seconds adrift in 2:20:57.
Dominique Mayho of V.T. Construction led the next wave across the line to take fourth position in 2:21:42, while Winners Edge rider Matt Boys rounded out the top five men's finishers in 2:21:57.
In the Open Women's division, Olander delivered a commanding performance for V.T. Construction. She held her own among the leading peloton, finishing 13th overall in 2:24:00 to seal the women's championship crown in style.
