What does wearing the national colours and representing Bermuda in the Davis Cup mean to you? Wearing the Bermuda colours and representing my country in Davis Cup is an honor that is difficult to put into words. But doing it on home soil makes it even more special. When you step onto that court you’re no longer just playing for yourself. You’re playing for your teammates, your family, the people in the stands, and an entire country. Every point carries a little more weight because you know there are people who are watching, believing and sharing in the journey with you.
Favorite Davis Cup memory (as a player or spectator): As a spectator I got to travel to Puerto Rico as a junior and watch the Men’s Davis Cup team; hoping I would be able to be part of the team one day.
As a player definitely being part of the winning team defeating the country of Georgia in Cyprus.
