Bermudian cyclist Gabriella Arnold delivered a determined endurance ride to secure a seventh-place finish at the gruelling Core4 Cycling Race in Iowa.
The multi-surface gravel event pushed riders through the demanding backroads and scenic terrain surrounding the Iowa City metro area.
Arnold battled through the extensive route to cross the line in a time of 6 hours, 35 minutes and 55 seconds, claiming a hard-earned seventh place overall.
Victory went to Dutch gravel specialist Geerike Schreurs, who dominated the course to take the win in a commanding time of 5:49:10, with Arnold finishing 46:45 behind the race winner.
