A five-rider squad will represent Bermuda at the 2026 Caribbean Junior Road Cycling Championships in Belize this weekend, blending podium pedigree with emerging talent.
Jacob Wright and Keon Stevens will lead the charge in the Junior Men’s category, tackling both the individual time trial and the road race. The pair bring continental experience to the side after making their international bows in Barbados twelve months ago.
Wright returns with high hopes after claiming bronze in the Juvenile Men’s time trial last year, while Stevens looks to build on an impressive debut campaign that marked his first race meeting outside domestic competition.
The Juvenile Men’s division sees Bermuda field a three-man contingent, featuring championship debutants Dylan Eiselt, Jens Drea, and Jonah MacGuinness. Eiselt and Drea are scheduled to contest the double across both disciplines, with MacGuinness targeting Sunday’s road race.
Action gets under way on Saturday, 22 August with the individual time trial, before the championships conclude on Sunday, 23 August with the road race.
The squad will be backed by an experienced support crew comprising Darren Glasford, Chequan Richardson, and Bermuda Bicycle Association president Peter Dunne.
