Young athletics sensation Raelyn Robinson delivered a standout multi-event performance at the AAU National Championship – Jackie Joyner-Kersee Showcase in St. Louis, Missouri, securing Gold, Bronze, and national recognition.
Competing in the 8 & Under division, Robinson collected four medals across track and field events to finish third overall in the 8U girls' standings and earn prestigious AAU All-American honors.
Robinson’s crowning achievement came in the long jump, where she produced a gold-medal leap of 3.56m (11ft 8in) to top the field in emphatic style.
Her form was equally sharp on the track. After qualifying fourth from the 200m preliminaries in 33.36, she sliced over a second off her time in the final to cross the line in 32.26 for a Bronze Medal.
She duplicated that bronze-medal finish in the 100m, clocking 15.40 in the final after placing second in her heats (15.82).
The stellar showing in St. Louis caps off a dominant week, but her summer campaign is far from over.
By virtue of her podium finishes, Robinson has officially qualified in all three disciplines—the 100m, 200m, and Long Jump—for the AAU Junior Olympics, taking place in Des Moines, Iowa, this August.
