BDA Spirits & Positive Image Dental Secure Dominant Wins

IslandStats.com
The latest round of Bermuda Ball Hockey action delivered a high-scoring spectacle at the PCC Hockey Rink, with twelve goals shared across two clinical performances. BDA Spirits and Positive Image Dental emerged as the big winners of the night, showcasing the offensive depth that has come to define this season’s competition.

CG 2 BDA Spirits 4

In the opening clash, BDA Spirits overcame a resilient CG side to claim a 4-2 victory.

The match sparked into life in the first period as Dallas Montgomery put CG ahead, only for Fanie Grenier to level the scores before the first buzzer.

The second period saw a tactical shift, with Stefan Chamberland finding the net to give the Spirits their first lead of the night.

Despite a second goal from Montgomery in the final period, Jeff Loper and Andrew Bonner clinical finishes ensured BDA Spirits walked away with all the points in a tightly contested affair.

Positive Image Dental 5 Spine & Sport 1

The scoring momentum continued into the second fixture, where Positive Image Dental delivered a masterclass in efficiency to dismantle Spine and Sport 5-1.

The story of the match was the relentless form of Ross Rufiange, who spearheaded the attack with a superb hat-trick. Rufiange opened the scoring in the first period before adding his second in the next, supported by a goal from Sean Mcnulty to put Positive Image Dental in a commanding position.

Spine and Sport briefly threatened a comeback in the final period through Christopher Merritt, but any hopes of a revival were swiftly extinguished.

Rufiange completed his treble with clinical precision, while Mcnulty added his second of the night to put the result beyond doubt. The victory reinforces Positive Image Dental's credentials as one of the most potent attacking units in the league, leaving Spine and Sport searching for answers ahead of the next round of fixtures.
