Bermudian standout Blake Montgomery and his University of Wisconsin teammates have officially punched their ticket to the NCAA Regionals following a resilient campaign in the cut-throat world of collegiate hockey.
The Badgers enter the prestigious tournament boasting an impressive overall record of 21 wins, 12 losses, and two ties. Their consistency was particularly evident within their own conference, where they navigated a grueling schedule to finish with 14 wins against 10 defeats. This robust form has ensured Wisconsin remains a formidable threat as they transition into the high-stakes, single-elimination environment of the national post-season.
At the heart of the Badgers' offensive surge has been the clinical form of Montgomery. The Bermudian forward has been a mainstay in the lineup, featuring in 34 games throughout the season and establishing himself as a key creative spark. His statistical output reflects a balanced and lethal attacking threat, with Montgomery tallying nine goals and providing eight assists for a total of 17 points.
