Montverde Academy has announced its highly anticipated schedule for the 2026 indoor track and field season, featuring a slate of premier meets across the United States. The Florida-based powerhouse continues to be a focal point for Bermudian athletic development, with standout youth internationals Miles Outerbridge, Ellise Dickinson, Amaris Munya, and Arima Turner all expected to feature prominently for the Eagles this winter.
The season officially gets underway on Friday, January 16th, and Saturday, January 17th, as the team travels to Virginia Beach for the Virginia Showcase. While the main squad competes in Virginia, Montverde’s specialized pole vaulting unit will head west to Reno, Nevada, to take part in the National Pole Vault Summit during the same opening weekend.
The schedule maintains its intensity throughout late January and February, with the Eagles utilizing Florida’s elite facilities for the Sunshine Showcase on January 24th–25th and the Legends of Alachua on January 30th–31st, both held in Gainesville. The program will then reach a season pinnacle on February 1st, taking to the national stage at the prestigious Millrose Games in New York City.
Postseason competition begins shortly after, with the Florida High School Championship in Gainesville scheduled for February 7th. The indoor campaign is set to conclude on the highest possible note as the team travels to Boston, Massachusetts, for the New Balance Indoor Nationals from March 12th–15th.
The 2026 season offers another critical opportunity for Bermuda’s leading young sprinters to test themselves against the fastest high school talent in America as they build toward the summer international window.
