North Village Rams continued their charge up the Premier Division standings with a compelling victory over St. George’s Colts at Bernard Park, with strong performances from Amir Dill and Jordan Outerbridge securing the win.
The North Village Rams took the lead in the 31st minute when Dill blasted the ball past the St. George’s Colts goalkeeper, giving the home side a 1-0 advantage.
The Rams doubled their lead immediately after the interval. In their first attack of the second half, Jordan Outerbridge beat an advancing St. George’s Colts goalkeeper Troy Hall to a loose ball to make the score 2-0.
The St. George’s Colts briefly rallied in the 55th minute when they were awarded a penalty, which was converted by Kashe Hall to pull them back within one goal.
However, the North Village Rams were quick to restore their control. In the 71st minute, a long ball forward saw Dill beat a defender to the ball before cleverly lobbing the advancing goalkeeper for his second goal of the game.
The scoring was completed four minutes later when Outerbridge grabbed his second goal of the match in identical fashion to his first, beating the goalkeeper to a loose ball. The consistent attacking pressure saw the North Village Rams claim the victory and continue their climb up the table.
