Following the removal of Hamilton Parish Workmen's Club (HPWC) from the 2025/26 First Division season by the Bermuda Football Association (BFA), all points and goals involving the club have been expunged. This administrative action has resulted in a significant shift in the league table and Golden Boot race.
The removal of Hamilton Parish's results has solidified the position of the Somerset Trojans at the top of the revised First Division standings. The Trojans remain the only undefeated team and hold the top spot after four matches.
Robin Hood currently sits three points behind the leaders in second place. The chase pack remains tightly bunched, promising an exciting run-in, with the Somerset Eagles, Southampton Rangers, and Wolves all tied on six points apiece.
The early Golden Boot race in the First Division is being thoroughly dominated by veteran talent, even after the expunging of goals. Keishen Bean of Robin Hood has stormed ahead of the field with a blistering 9 goals.
The massive gap between the top scorer and the rest of the league is clear, as the chasing pack consists of 10 players who all have two goals each.
The administrative decision to remove HPWC came after the club defaulted three matches within the season, violating BFA rules.
