Premier Division: Colts Lead Tight Race
The Premier Division remains highly contested, with Devonshire Colts currently leading the charge. They sit at the summit with 12 points accumulated from just five games. Closely trailing them are X-Road’s, who are in second place with 11 points from six games. The Dandy Town Hornets complete the top three, sitting third with 10 points.
The race for the Golden Boot in the top flight is equally tight, featuring a three-way tie among the early scoring leaders. Senoj Mitchell of the Devonshire Colts maintains the overall lead with 6 goals. Just behind him is Jonte Smith of the North Village Rams, , who has netted 5 goals. A chasing group featuring David Jones (Dandy Town Hornets), Zeiko Lewis (Social Club), Paul Simons and Donovan Thompson of X-Road’s, and Elisha Darrell (Devonshire Colts) are all currently on 4 goals.
First Division: Trojans Undefeated as Bean Dominates Scoring
In the First Division, the Somerset Trojans have established themselves as the early pacesetters. They remain the only undefeated team after five matches and hold the top spot in the standings.
The chase pack is tightly bunched and promises an exciting run-in, with the Southampton Rangers, Robin Hood, and the Somerset Eagles all tied on nine points apiece. Robin Hood and the Somerset Eagles hold a slight advantage over the Rangers, having played one fewer game.
The early Golden Boot race in the First Division is being dominated by veteran talent. Keishen Bean of Robin Hood has stormed ahead of the field with a blistering 9 goals. The chasing pair consists of Sijay Samuels and Ellington Weldon, both from the Southampton Rangers, who have five goals each.
