Taylor White delivered a superb individual performance, clinching victories in two distinct disciplines, as the Bentley Women's Swimming & Diving team swam past Assumption University with a commanding score of 132-71 in their home opener at the Dana Center.
The win sees the Falcons improve their season record and sends a strong statement to their Northeast-10 rivals.
Bermudian swimmer White, a consistent point-scorer for the Falcons, proved her versatility by winning races at both ends of the distance spectrum. She touched the wall first in the challenging Women’s 1000 Yards Freestyle, clocking a swift time of 10 minutes, 54.56 seconds (10:54.56).
Showing her speed and technique, White then recorded the fastest time in the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke, stopping the clock at 1 minute, 1.03 seconds (1:01.03).
White also swam the crucial lead-off backstroke leg for the winning 200 Yard Medley Relay team, contributing to Bentley’s impressive haul of first-place finishes and the dominant team victory.
