Current Premier & First Division Standings & Goalscorers

The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) Premier and First Division campaigns are now five rounds into the season, and the league tables are firmly taking shape, setting the stage for tense battles for supremacy at both the top and bottom of the standings.

The Premier Division is proving to be the most competitive top-flight race in years, featuring an intense, three-way scrap for the top spot, separated only by the finest of margins: a single point and goal difference.

Devonshire Colts currently sit atop the league with 12 points, placing them just one point ahead of two powerful contenders: Dandy Town Hornets and X-Road’s. Crucially, Dandy Town Hornets hold a game in hand, meaning the leadership could change hands quickly in the coming weeks.

The race for the Golden Boot is just as closely contested in the top flight. Senoj Mitchell leads the charts with six goals, but a fierce five-way tie is emerging as the early chasers. David Jones (Dandy Town Hornets), Jonte Smith (North Village Rams), Donovan Thompson (X-Road’s), Elisha Darrell (Devonshire Colts), and Zeiko Lewis (Young Men Social Club) all have four goals each, promising a season-long scoring battle.

In the First Division, the Somerset Trojans continue to establish themselves as the early pacesetters, remaining undefeated after four matches to lead the standings.

The chase pack sees the Southampton Rangers in second place on 9 points. They are followed by Robin Hood and the Somerset Eagles, who both have six points apiece. Robin Hood holds a significant advantage, having played two fewer games than their rivals, while Somerset Eagles also have a game in hand, suggesting the table could shift dramatically as fixtures catch up.

The early Golden Boot race in the First Division is being dominated by veteran talent. Keishen Bean of Robin Hood has stormed ahead of the field with a blistering eight goals. The chasing pair consists of Sijay Samuels and Ellington Weldon, both from the Southampton Rangers, who have five goals each.
