Bermuda’s cyclists delivered a stunning performance at the Caribbean Elite Time Trial Championships in Belize, securing an impressive triple podium finish on the challenging Boom Hattieville course.
The contingent claimed Gold and Silver in the Elite Men's event, alongside a hard-fought Bronze in the Elite Women's race.
In the 32.5km men’s race, current Bermuda TT Champion Nicholass Narraway, competing in the Elite category for the first time, powered his way to victory.
Narraway clocked a blistering time of 39 minutes and 25 seconds—the only rider to complete the course in under 40 minutes—to claim the gold medal. His average speed was a remarkable 53.58km/h.
Defending Caribbean Time Trial Champion Conor White added a silver medal to Bermuda’s tally, finishing second with a time of 40:12.
The podium was completed by Christopher Morales of Puerto Rico, who took the bronze medal in 41:17. The flat, fast course, with its exposed crosswinds, proved to be a severe test of power and aerodynamic skill.
In the Elite Women’s 20.9km event, Gabriella Arnold secured a significant bronze medal for Bermuda.
Arnold battled hard to finish third, behind a formidable pairing. The race was won by Trinidad & Tobago's celebrated cyclist Teniel Campbell (Gold), with Llori Sharpe of Jamaica taking the silver.
The haul of three medals confirms Bermuda's growing dominance in the regional cycling time trial discipline.
