Bermuda 0 Trinidad & Tobago 3
Bermuda’s hopes of reaching the 2026 World Cup have come to a decisive and painful end, as the 'Gombey Warriors' suffered a comprehensive 3-0 defeat to rivals Trinidad and Tobago in their crucial Group B qualifier tonight.
Coach Michael Findlay’s side entered the match needing a victory to keep their qualification quest alive, but they were ultimately overwhelmed by a strong Trinidadian performance that saw them concede a third consecutive loss in the final round of the Concacaf campaign.

Bermuda’s evening began badly and quickly got worse. Despite lining up with key starters including captain Nahki Wells and playmaker Reggie Lambe, the home side was undone by early pressure and misfortune.
Trinidad’s attacking intent paid off early as Dante Sealy scored the opening goal from inside the box, in the 10th minute securing Trinidad’s first goal of this qualifying round.
In the 23rd Minute, adding to the crisis, Bermuda was forced into an early substitution as Richard Jones left the field with an injury, replaced by Justin Donawa.
In the 30th minute the setback was quickly compounded when Tyrese Spicer found the back of the net, giving Trinidad a significant 2-0 lead heading into the break.
Any lingering hope of a second-half resurgence was extinguished almost immediately after the restart.
In the 49th minute defender Kobi Joseph Henry delivered the final, decisive blow for Trinidad and Tobago, scoring the third goal from inside the box.
The 3-0 scoreline was too great a deficit for Bermuda to recover from. The failure to register a goal means Bermuda have now failed to score in two consecutive home matches and remain rooted at the bottom of Group B with zero points from three games.
With a top-two finish now mathematically impossible, Bermuda’s focus for their three remaining fixtures—starting with an away trip to Jamaica next—will shift from qualification to long-term development and building pride in the national shirt.
