A total of 14 riders competed under the watchful eyes of Race Director Chris Roque and Chief Referee Deborah Narraway. Hopkins's time was nearly six minutes faster than his closest competitor, highlighting his formidable form.
Stephen Ryan finished second overall with a time of 27:08.8, while Justin Brigham rounded out the podium and claimed the B Division title, clocking 27:19.2.
In the Women's Division, Panzy Olander was crowned champion with a time of 29:58.5, with Naomi MacGuinness finishing second in 32:02.4.
Hannes Swart was the lone competitor in the 11-12 Age Group, clocking a solid time of 32:27.0. The event, a true test of a rider's individual power and endurance, sets a strong benchmark for the rest of the season.
