Nathan Trott and his Cardiff City FC teammates suffered their first league defeat of the season, falling 3-1 to Bradford City. The loss at Cardiff City Stadium spoiled the club's Foundation Day celebrations.
In the FA Vase, Southwell City FC endured a disappointing afternoon. Despite two goals from Ayleal Dill, they gave up a 3-0 lead to lose 5-3 to Radford in the 2nd Qualifying Round.
Elsewhere, Milan Butterfield secured a victory, as his Halesowen Town teammates netted a late goal to defeat St Ives Town FC 1-0.
In the Isthmian Football League, Binfield went down 3-1 to Raynes Park Vale. The Bermudian contingent was well-represented, with Coleridge Fubler Jr. and Qur’an Raynor starting, while Aunde Todd and Reese Jones Jr. came off the bench.
There were also draws for several Bermudians. Deniche Hill and Keziah Martin's Buxton FC fought to a 2-2 draw with the Kidderminster Harriers, while Willie Clemons and his Leiston FC teammates drew 2-2 with Jutorre Burgess' Harborough Town FC. J'Nai Butterfield-Steede also earned a valuable point for Wythenshawe Town FC, coming from 2-0 down to draw at home.
In other action, Justin Donawa's Brackley Town edged out Kane Crichlow's Sutton United 1-0. Crichlow was not in the Sutton United squad for the match.
The referee abandoned the match between Ne-Jai Tucker's Southport United and their opponents with the score at 2-1 to Southport due to a waterlogged pitch. Roger Lee's Heanor Town FC went down 2-1 to Newark Town Football Club, while Reggie Lambe and his Needham Market teammates secured a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Stamford.
