The family of the late Warrington "Soup" Zuill has announced that Somerset Cricket Club's Zeri Tomlinson is the recipient of the 2025 Warrington "Soup" Zuill Cup Match Sportsmanship Award.
Tomlinson was recognized for his exemplary sportsmanship during the recent Cup Match classic. The young colt earned the award after a moment of high-pressure integrity when he chose not to run out opposing batsman Delray Rawlins. Rawlins had hit a ball that struck a close-in fielder, and as he ran to check on the player, Tomlinson refused to take advantage of the situation by running him out.
The award, which honors the spirit of fair play and integrity, was presented by Hoyt Zuill and Alicia Zuill (son and daughter), and Chante Zuill (grand daughter) and it was accepted on Tomlinson's behalf by his father, Adrian Tomlinson.
