 Bermudian goalkeeper Nathan Trott has been nominated for the EFL League One Player of the Month award for August after a sensational start to the season with Cardiff City.
Trott, who is on a season-long loan from FC Copenhagen, has been a key figure in Cardiff's impressive form, helping them to an unbeaten start. He is up against three other players for the first monthly award of the new EFL season:

In five league games in August, Trott conceded just a single goal in 450 minutes of action. He has kept five clean sheets in six matches across all competitions, showcasing his superb shot-stopping and calm presence in the penalty area. Trott’s impressive form has earned him a place among the league's best players in the opening month of the season. The winner will be announced on Friday, September 12, 2025.
Kenni Thompson delivered the assist in AFC Bournemouth Women’s 2 - 1 victory away to Hashtag United Women in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division last month and the goal has been voted the team’s Moment of the Month.
Thompson was able to avoid a strong challenge staying on her feet and delivered a perfect left footed cross for Kelci Bowers to fire home in the 90th minute.
