In the opener, the Devonshire Cougars put on a dominant display, defeating Young Men Social Club 5-0 in a one-sided Group C match. The Cougars were on fire from the start, with Chae Brangman opening the scoring in the seventh minute. Charmari Burns doubled the lead in the 19th minute, and Jayori Fox extended the lead to 3-0 in the 30th minute, a score they would take into the halftime break.
The second half was much the same story, with Fox scoring his second of the game in the 57th minute to make it 4-0. Brangman then sealed the dominant performance with his second goal of the match in the 69th minute, earning the Cougars a convincing 5-0 win.

The nightcap in Group B was a much tighter affair, with St. George’s Colts coming from behind to win the battle of the Colts, edging Devonshire Colts 2-1.
The Devonshire Colts took the lead in the 40th minute when new signee Elisha Darrell found the back of the net. However, the lead was short-lived, as Jarazinho Basset drew the St. George’s Colts level just a minute into first-half stoppage time, sending the teams into the break tied at 1-1.
The second half belonged to St. George's. Jahron Dickinson scored the lone goal of the half in the 54th minute, which proved to be the winner. The victory was a crucial one for the St. George’s Colts, as it moves them to the top of Group B with four points.
