Over a 30-year coaching career, Mahesh Hatkar has coached extensively in India and internationally.
His coaching journey started without initial intent in coaching but evolved after helping junior players in Mumbai cricket clubs and completing coaching qualifications from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), including Level 2 certification.
Early in his career, he played club cricket in Mumbai before transitioning fully into coaching.
He has coached various national teams during their camps in India, including Tanzania, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Botswana, UAE, and Bermuda teams.
He worked with reputed cricket academies such as Gary Kirsten Academy, Jonty Rhodes Academy, and Rohit Sharma Cricket Academy, gaining expertise in fielding and player development
He gained valuable experience and perspectives from coaching interactions with prominent figures like Jonty Rhodes and Gary Kirsten.
Recently, he spent time coaching in Bermuda, working with local clubs and the Bermuda National Team players, and also coaching the Americas Select team made up of talents from various countries.
He continues to actively engage in coaching camps and cricket training sessions, aiming especially to nurture young cricketers. He believes in building confident, disciplined cricketers through fun-first training and inclusive teamwork. His approach aligns perfectly with our mission to inspire young athletes and foster community spirit.
